Canadian Ambassador to Indonesia Presents Award for Service to Outgoing Honorary Consul
Mr. Alim Markus served as Honourary Consul of Canada in Surabaya from 1995 -2004
At an official ceremony on September 30, 2004, Canadian Ambassador to Indonesia, Randolph Mank, presented the outgoing Honorary Consul (Surabaya), Mr. Alim Markus, with an award thanking the Consul for his years of service to the Government of Canada. Mr. Alim Markus served as Honourary Consul in Surabaya from 1995 -2004. During that time, the Honorary Consulate was moved to its present location in Darmala Building on Jalan Panglima Sudirman, allowing the consulate to better serve the sizeable population of Canadians, alumni of Canadian universities, the Canada's growing business interests in Surabaya.
